The JEE Scholarship Program is an initiative by Redseer Foundation, in collaboration with EkStep Foundation, designed to support meritorious students from underserved backgrounds in preparing for India’s most competitive engineering entrance examinations.
As part of its evolving focus on enabling academic access and long-term opportunity, the foundation is supporting a structured scholarship program implemented through Physics Wallah (PW). This initiative is aimed at students currently in Class X (2024–25 batch), helping them prepare for JEE Mains and Advanced (2027–28) through a comprehensive, multi-year learning pathway.
Through this program, selected students are being enrolled in the Arjuna + Lakshya JEE courses, which offer a two-year structured preparation model combining online learning, assessments, mentorship, and academic support. The program is designed to ensure that financial constraints do not limit access to high-quality coaching and competitive exam preparation.
With a focused investment of INR 11,00,000, the initiative is enabling access to structured coaching for a large cohort of students across India, creating a scalable pathway for engineering aspirants from economically constrained backgrounds.
The program enables students to enroll in a two-year, structured JEE preparation course offered by Physics Wallah. This includes comprehensive coverage of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics aligned with JEE Mains and Advanced requirements.
Participants receive access to a full suite of academic resources, including online lectures, daily practice problems, PDF notes, revision sessions, and regular assessments. This ensures continuous learning and reinforcement of concepts throughout the program.
The program incorporates peer-to-peer doubt resolution, faculty support, and one-to-one mentoring, allowing students to clarify concepts and stay engaged with the learning process. Emotional well-being support is also provided through dedicated counselling systems.
A structured monitoring system enables progress tracking through dashboards, ensuring transparency and continuous evaluation of student performance throughout the duration of the program.
Students are selected through a rigorous process, including a Physics Wallah entrance examination, where candidates must secure a minimum of 70% to qualify. The program prioritizes students from families with an annual income below INR 5,00,000, ensuring access for those who need it the most.
With a total allocation of INR 11,00,000, the program is supporting 166 students, with a scholarship value of approximately INR 6,208 per student, creating a scalable and cost-efficient model for large-scale impact.
The JEE Scholarship Program is actively enabling students to access structured, high-quality coaching that would otherwise remain out of reach due to financial constraints.
By supporting early-stage aspirants, the initiative is helping build a strong academic foundation that increases the likelihood of students successfully competing in national-level engineering entrance examinations. The program is also fostering discipline, consistency, and long-term academic commitment — key factors required for success in competitive environments.
As the program progresses, it is expected to significantly improve access to engineering education for students from economically weaker sections, while also contributing to a more inclusive pipeline of future engineers across India.
Beyond immediate outcomes, this initiative is establishing a scalable, partnership-led model that combines philanthropy, edtech platforms, and academic rigor — creating pathways for sustained impact in the years ahead.
