Pooja Sharma - The Founder
Pooja has a distinguished career spanning over 19 years, Pooja Sharma has masterfully combined corporate excellence with social responsibility. Starting her journey in qualitative and quantitative research, she built a solid foundation in market analysis and competitive intelligence. Her strategic acumen at leading IT product companies elevated her to the forefront of sales analytics. Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit, Pooja pioneered AI-driven initiatives aimed at empowering engineers from underserved backgrounds, showcasing her visionary leadership through collaborations with CXOs and involvement in large-scale M&A deals.
Beyond her professional achievements, Pooja’s dedication to philanthropy is deeply impactful. As a former NSS Secretary, she spearheaded community development initiatives and earned accolades for her social awareness since her college days. Her commitment to education and empowerment shines through her work with government schools and orphanages, and through the Redseer Foundation Trust, which she founded to advance higher education, upskilling, and women’s empowerment. Her proactive engagement with underprivileged single parents highlights her drive for creating meaningful change. When not in her super mom role, she inspires those around her to step out of their comfort zones and pursue their path to entrepreneurship.
Uthara - Trustee
Uthara is a corporate lawyer with over 13 years of experience. She started her career as a research assistant in the office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Deepak Verma (Retd.), former judge, Supreme Court of India. She specializes in advising a wide range of clients on mergers and acquisitions, e-commerce transactions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments, due diligence exercises and contractual matters.
She is part of several committies constituted under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (“POSH Act”) in companies. She has also assisted companies in complying with their corporate social responsibility obligations under law as well as helped clients set up their non-governmental organizations in Bangalore.
While not reviewing legal documents or advising clients on legal issues, Uthara strives to be a minimalist and is a ‘green crusader’; she likes to associate herself with activities that aim at improving the environment. She also works closely with a not-for-profit Trust in Bangalore engaged in helping children with Down’s Syndrome.
Anusha Mahadevan - Volunteer
Dr. Anusha is a seasoned therapist with over 22 years of experience spanning education, software, optimization, and mental health, both in India and internationally. Specializing in educational counseling, she excels in resolving classroom and interpersonal issues through person-centered therapeutic methods. Her extensive experience includes roles at Step One NGO and various schools, where she has supported diverse populations through individual and group therapy, addressing challenges from interpersonal conflicts to career guidance.
As a valued member of the team at School for Global Minds, Dr. Anusha is instrumental in creating a nurturing and effective environment for students and faculty. Her practical insights and compassionate approach significantly enhance the well-being and personal development of those she supports. Outside of her professional work, she passionately builds diverse focus groups to foster innovative ideas and learning within various communities. This commitment to community engagement underscores her dedication to making a positive difference both within and beyond her professional sphere.
Vineetha Vijayakumar - Volunteer
Vineetha is a seasoned Product Leader with over 18 years of experience, known for managing high-performing teams and delivering impactful projects in complex environments. Her expertise as a skilled communicator and empathetic leader enables her to thrive in dynamic settings, where she excels in multitasking and fostering open communication and inclusion. Vineetha’s strong leadership and project management skills are key assets she brings to the Redseer Foundation, where she is committed to supporting the delivery of meaningful programs and initiatives.
Passionate about enhancing education and living conditions for underserved communities, Vineetha has spearheaded numerous corporate CSR initiatives over the past 15 years. Outside of her professional endeavors, she is an avid reader, often found surrounded by a stack of books. Her dedication to both her career and philanthropic efforts underscores her commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of those in need.
Ashwin Ramchandran - Volunteer
Ashwin is a seasoned tech professional with a Master’s in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and over 20 years of experience in building AI products and managing high-performing tech teams. His career highlights include a significant tenure at Yahoo, followed by a pivotal role as employee #1 at several high-profile startups where he contributed to scaling both their technology and business operations. Currently, Ashwin leads his own AI startup focused on revolutionizing data consumption for companies.
In addition to his tech career, Ashwin is deeply committed to philanthropy, particularly in the field of education. He dedicates his time to educating students and professionals about the transformative power of AI, freely offering lectures and talks to help others leverage this technology to improve their lives. His active support for educational causes reflects his passion for empowering others and making a meaningful impact through knowledge sharing.
