The Samarthanam Trust Collaboration is a significant initiative by the Redseer Foundation dedicated to empowering 175 blind girl students over a three-year period. Partnering with Samarthanam Trust for The Disabled, a Bangalore-based non-profit organization, this project focuses on providing comprehensive support, including funding for education and tutoring, as well as equipping students with advanced technology to enhance their learning experience.
The project tackles the “Book Famine” by producing and distributing audio books while also supporting the students’ educational needs.
Ensure visually impaired students have equal access to educational materials through audio books and advanced technology.
Cover the education and tutoring fees for 175 blind girls, providing them with the necessary financial support to succeed academically.
Provide each student with a OnePlus tablet (iPad-like device) to facilitate easy access to learning materials and digital resources.
Produce and distribute audio books to bridge the gap in available reading materials for individuals with print disabilities.
Support the personal growth and educational advancement of blind girls, promoting their readiness for future opportunities.
Engaged volunteers in the recording of audio books, raising awareness and fostering community support for the visually impaired.
